Retreat into yourself with this afternoon of blissful self care. Experience all elements of yoga over the course of a Sunday afternoon. Beginning with guided meditation, moving through a flow, following on with some deep yin yoga postures and ending with yoga Nidra. It will leave you feeling rested and rejuvenated, calm and connected.
What to Expect
We will spend a little longer in poses during this workshop, allowing you the opportunity to experience basic alignment and feel the sensations you want to move your bodies (safely) towards during regular classes.
Is Yin Yoga for you? If you are craving energy and tired or you’re over-stimulated and have too much energy; if your mind is overactive or your energy levels erratic – then YES, yin yoga is for you.
What is Yin Yoga? Yin yoga is a smaller amount of poses held over longer periods of time, allowing the muscles an opportunity to settle down and allowing the body move deeper through the tension or tightness that might be keeping you stuck in other areas of your practice.
Yoga Nidra also known as Yoga Sleep is mind-body therapy that provides deep relaxation. No physical movement is required.
